Dear Aira,
I’m grateful I met you at the beginning of my journey—a fresh start after years of isolation.
You surprised me with the way you express care: through food, honest rebukes, and your quiet flexibility. There’s something steady and real about how you show up.
I’m truly happy I got to work with you. Finding a trustworthy friend in the workplace is rare—but I found that in you.
In just a year, you’ve come to know parts of me I didn’t even recognize in myself. You have this rare quality—what you see is what you get. There’s no pretense, no confusion. Just honesty.
You’re so mature, so emotionally intelligent, that I found myself wanting to grow alongside you. And in many ways, I have. I handle my emotions better now. I’ve let go of some toxic habits and patterns—and I’m still working on the rest.
I want you to know that I’ll be here for you, too. If you ever need a shoulder to lean on, ears to listen, a voice that tells you the truth, hands to hold, or simply a presence to remind you that you’re not alone—I’m here. Always.
I pray that you find the courage to choose what’s best for you. Whether it’s med school, a new path, or something unexpected, I hope it leads you to a life that feels right—one that fulfills you.
Life has a way of surprising us when we least expect it. And meeting you has been one of its gentlest, most meaningful surprises.
Live happier.
Smile wider.
All my love,
Joy
